1. Giving birth to a healthy daughter after being told I wouldn't be able to have children at all.
2. Being the first to graduate from college in my family.
3. Refusing to be the only adult in the relationships with my parents.
4. Choosing to be and remain in the field of education in Memphis City Schools.
5. Enrolling in a writing class {although, I'm still trying to carve out time to actually do more writing}.
6. Paying off a vehicle that I bought brand new.
7. Buying a house after I got divorced.
8. Finding and falling in love with my husband, Jason.
9. Being told by a former student that I am the reason they are who they are today.
10. Being able to apologize and admit my mistakes when I make them. {I list this as an accomplishment because it's not how I was raised, nor is it how many other people are raised.}
